It all took place for a great cause, the Little Princesses Trust, a charity that works closely with children suffering from cancer by making and donating wigs made from donated hair (such as Adam’s)

Adam, one of our brilliant developers, was nominated at our Christmas party to have his lovely long locks cut off and have his hair donated to charity. He reluctantly agreed and now we are holding him to it!
However, we need your help… we cannot decide what style we should give him? The fate of his hair now lies in your hands!
Adam’s girlfriend has given the go-ahead, and approved any one of the four celebrity hairstyles selected to suit Adam’s style and provide the all important 7 inches of cut hair needed to donate it to The Little Princess Trust. The charity has an arrangement in place with a supplier to make wigs out of donated hair. These wigs are then provided, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment. Saturday night marked the 9th Annual Pebbletree Christmas party, celebrated for the first time at trendy Sunderland haunt, Bar Justice. With members of both the Pebbletree and Goldfish teams descending on the North East from all over the UK, it was the perfect opportunity to get the team together and celebrate what has been a spectacular year for us.

After some minor delays and the small issue of relocating desks, computers, filing cabinets and the contents of a kitchen, we’re finally settled in our new office!
Because we’ve remained in the same business centre, it wasn’t a case of find a removal company and they would do all the legwork for us when it came to the possessions we were keeping.
Everybody chipped in with the most able bodied responsible for the biggest and heaviest objects, resulting in a handful of the males from the team carrying out their day jobs whilst simultaneously being removal men.

Away from the day-to-day bustle of the noisy office, the Pebbletree team met up on a July afternoon for the annual team summer party for a day consisting of food, drink and fancy dress.
Held at the home of the company’s directors, Robert and Janni, the day was an opportunity for the team to let their hair down on the back of great news received during the working week – that the company had been awarded ‘Best VoIP’ provider at the 2014 ISPA awards, so it was very much a day of celebration.
Among the attendees clad in fancy dress were Darth Vader, Rambo, Fred Flinstone and his wife (in colourful wigs), Luke Skywalker and Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist Slash.
